Hello Paul
An excellent website. I found it searching for some information about Ronnie Peterson. Your drawing of Ronnie in Lotus 72E is great. I collect modelcars myself (racecars scale 1:43) and all sorts of things that touches Ronnie Peterson and Gilles Villenueve (books, pictures, cards etc.). Tomorrow I am going to Örebro ind Sweden to visit the Ronnie Peterson Museum. I am sure gonna visit your website again.

Paul: I'm 75 years old. I've been a car guy since I saw my first MG A race in 1948. The XK-120 was and still is the most beautiful automobile ever built. Going through your site gave me an occasional goosebump, because I remembered the event when it occurred. Thank you for your efforts. I skipped my Senior Prom and went to Indy instead in '50 and '51.

Hi Paul. I just read about your site in C & SC...great photos and content. My particular thing is LSR models, but I have a few books which I'd imagine would be right down your alley.
Thrills of the Speedways published by Dean &Sons London in late 30's was a cheap find at a country market, also the Lion Book of Speed circa 1962.
I have a couple of great die cast racing car models - Connaughts/Ferraris/Mercedes etc, but these are things I only purchase when they turn up at very reasonable prices - not so common, even in Australia!
Will happliy send images etc if you're interested.
All the best, and congratulations on an excellent website.

Hi! This is a wonderful website.
2 things:
I had a shuco as a kid and lately i find myself obsessed with that old
wind-up body style. How come no-one is currently making toys like the old ones? Do you know?
Also, my Grandfather was Wallace Reid,
the silent screen actor. He was supposedly the first person to drive a race car in a movie, and was really in love with race and touring cars. Do you
have anything associated with him? I would love to know more and see more pictures. Kathe Reid

I found your site through a guestbook you signed at Sennake's modelling pages.
Very nice work on the models, I especially like the Lotus 25. Pictures and description of the one I built can be found at http://www.eajonesgue.com/scalemodels/Lotus25.html
Keep up the good work.

Hi Paul,
Just dropped by to take another look. It always looks great and without reading the caption of the Villeneuve sketch I knew it was of him. Like the Phil Hill 80th birthday montage too.

Hi Paul:
What a fabulous site, thanks for letting me know about it. I really enjoyed checking all of it out. Keep up the great work. Like everyone else, I just wish I had held onto all those "Dinkys" that I had as a kid.
Happy motoring from your neighbour Norm MacLean.

Hallo Paul,
my name is Detlef, we met each other in Morella/Spain. We watched the soccer game barca vs. london on TV and talked about F1 and much more. Do you remember?
It is nice to read, that you and your family returned well to canada.
My Trip ended last Saturday at home with much stormy weather and thunder, after 5.900 km around Spain with my Audi TTR.
I have had a nice week. OK, it's a special for my own, but i like it.
Your Tourn around Spain was also well?
Greetings to you, your wive an your boys from the cold, rainy Germany
Detlef
PS: I give my adress to you in a seperate e-mail
PS2: Nice homepage you have :-) It's a lot of work you have, i think.
